H.M.S. Hood was a British Battlecruiser put to sea in 1918. For 20 years after her construction she was the largest battleship ever constructed earning her the nickname “The Mighty Hood.” In May 1941 the Hood and the H.M.S. Prince of Wales set out to intercept the German surface raiders, Bismarck and Prinz Eugen.
